Clifford Social Club

The Club was officially opened as a Working Men’s Club in October 1919; disappointingly, no alcohol was served. The building, which was originally owned by The Mill and used as stables, was given to the St Helen’s Church team in the 1950s and then, eventually, sold to the WMC in 1978 for £8000.
It is open to members and their guests and you can play darts, pool and snooker there either for fun or as part of a team. They also have a billiards team and a shooting team.

Bingo is held every Wednesday at 8.00pm and a number of live acts are booked from time to time.

For more details on membership, either go into the Club and ask or call 01789 204844 during opening hours.
